Campus Development
Leading and creating new space for the future
World-class scholarship and innovation requires space — an environment that nurtures learning, encourages creativity and provides room for the ideas of our students and academics to develop, grow and take flight.
The University certainly treasures its unique architectural heritage — including Hong Kong’s first university building — but we are now building for the future, by expanding and enhancing our campus on many fronts.
Our development plans include projects on our existing campuses in and near Pokfulam, as well as new spaces around Hong Kong and in the Greater Bay Area.
In every case, the University will always focus on creating a launchpad for excellence, whether it be in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship, collaborations and cross-disciplinary pursuits, or living and learning.
Some of these exciting projects include:
Tech Landmark: A Global Leader in InnoTech
HKU-Shenzhen Campus: Grounds for Dynamic Growth in the GBA
Pokfield Complex: A Multidisciplinary Hub and New Home for the HKU Business School
No. 3 Sassoon Road Medical Campus: State-of-the-Art Medical Facilities
New Residential Halls: A Holistic Approach to University Life
